We’re having our first ever consignment bike sale and we could not be more excited. We are looking for any and all bicycles in functional condition that you would like to sell for ‘cash’ or store credit. Bicycles must be in working condition, and cannot be ‘department store’ bikes aka purchased at Walmart. Bike swap will be happening at our HQ location in Great Barrington, MA.
How Does It WOrk?
You will bring the bicycle to our HQ in Great Barrington during the dates / times mentioned below. From there, you will meet with our technical director Levi who will give you a recommended sale price of your bicycle. It will then be your call to make the final decision on pricing. The bicycle will be tagged, we will take your contact information, and mark down whether you want ‘cash’ or store credit.
‘Cash’ vs Store Credit
If you want cash, which will most likely be a bank check, then we will give you 75% of your bikes sold value
If you want store credit, we will give you 100% of your bikes sold value
If you want to get an estimated value of your bicycles current value, check Bicycle Blue Book. As a simple starting point for sale prices, we will be recommending 50% of the MSRP of your bicycle.

FAQs
Will I need to be present during the sale days?
No, we will follow up after the sale with the results of your bike.
What happens if my bicycle doesn’t sell?
If your bicycle doesn’t sell you will be notified and required to pick the bike up by the end of business hours May 28th. If you do not pick your bike up by then we will donate your bicycle to charity..
Is this even going to be any fun?
Yes, we’re not everything but we are always fun.
What if my bicycle isn’t totally functional?
If your bike isn’t functional you will need to bring it in for service BEFORE drop off week. Our service department will be too busy that week to guarantee turnaround times before bike swap days.
Are you taking electric bikes in the swap?
Yes
Can i drop my bicycle off at another BBB location?
No, we will not have the capacity to transfer bikes in from different locations, you will need to bring the bike to BBB GB.
