ComE Ride WIth Us!
Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. This page will have updated weather cancelations and you can check the group me chatrooms too linked below.
Please sign the waiver - do it once a year. Thanks!
2024 BBB Gravel Adventures ™
Adventure, dirt, big tires, hills, dirt, maybe snow, and bright lights! The infamous BBB Wednesday night gravel rides are back! What happens on the BBB gravel ride doesn’t need to stay at the BBB gravel ride BUT let this be a warning that the BBB gravel rides are not for the faint of heart… Just ask any survivor of our famous ride and they will tell you its the highlight of their year!
Our gravel season starts after the Josh Billings in mid September and runs through the end of the year. Season finale is traditionally Jaryns favorite time of the year between Christmas eve and New Years when he challenges everyone to ride 500km in that timeframe. After that Jaryn is tired so he takes a lil nap from the bike for a month or so…
For 2024 we will be riding each Wednesday night, wheels spinning at 6pm. Each week the ride leaves from a different location somewhere in MA, CT, or NY.
Speaking of highlight - 2 rechargeable WHITE LED lights are mandatory for every rider to carry on this ride. 800 lumin per light minimum! A rear RED light is also mandatory.
Tire talk - 32mm tires are the smallest you are gonna want to run on our rides. We are NOT going to be riding on pure gravel and paved roads. We WILL be riding at times on single track, very rough double track, water, bushwack
Weather - we WILL ride in snow, rain, snowy rain and any combo of those. Traditionally lightning cancels our rides and very windy conditions are not optimal for riding in the woods.
