The 611 Ergowave MTB Active Saddle was designed to precisely accommodate the requirements of off-road cycling and perfectly meet the demands of all-mountain and enduro use. The wave-like shape and raised rear section provide perfect rearward support and an optimal pressure distribution which reaches deep into the body structures resulting in improved power transmission. The lowered nose, in combination with the dip, provides optimal pressure relief for the perineal area. And for additional pressure relief, especially on long technical climbs, the saddle nose of the 611 was made approximately 4mm wider than that of the 612, but just as flat and with the largest possible surface area. The padding was designed for the specific needs on the MTB with more damping properties than the 612, making it perfect for rough off-road terrain. Additionally, a premium quality Kevlar material protects the saddle in the exposed places. SQlab active technology allows the saddle to follow the biomechanical motion when pedaling, resulting in increased comfort, mobilization of the spinal discs, and reduced pressure to the sit bones.

Shorter—Narrower—Lighter—Faster. The 612-R offers more performance based ergonomics from 150 g. The raised rear gives more grip and better power transmission. A big advantage on straight roads and especially uphill. The stronger narrower mid-section and the narrow saddle nose gives more legroom. The proven SQlab ERGOWAVE form relieves the soft tissue area and prevents energy-consuming bad posture. The saddle shell is weight and flex optimized down to the last detail. More longitudinal stiffness and perfectly coordinated material flex to the side mean more comfort with less weight at the same time. The cover is extremely light but also abrasion-resistant and non-slip. The padding is closed-cell and strongly minimized. The comfort comes from the shape and the flex behavior between rail, shell and foam, which is coordinated as an overall system.
